Discover the differences between the Pride Jazzy EVO 613 Li and standard Jazzy EVO 613 power wheelchairs. Compare lithium battery technology, driving range, weight, charging, maneuverability, and comfort to see what makes the lithium powered model an appealing choice for everyday mobility.

The Pride Jazzy EVO 613 Li builds on the popular Jazzy EVO 613 power wheelchair with advanced lithium battery technology, longer driving range, reduced overall weight, and improved battery longevity.

Both models share many of Pride Mobility's most popular features, including Mid Wheel 6 Technology, Active Trac Suspension, a compact 22 inch turning radius, and comfortable adjustable seating.

The biggest difference is the battery system. The standard Jazzy EVO 613 uses traditional sealed lead acid batteries, while the Jazzy EVO 613 Li features a lithium iron phosphate battery designed to deliver longer range and improved everyday convenience.

For customers comparing these two Pride Mobility power wheelchairs, understanding the battery differences is one of the most important parts of making the right decision.

Jazzy EVO 613 Li vs. EVO 613 Specification Comparison

Lithium Battery Technology Is the Biggest Difference

The most significant upgrade found on the Jazzy EVO 613 Li is its lithium iron phosphate battery.

Traditional sealed lead acid batteries have been used in power wheelchairs for decades. They provide dependable power, but they also contribute considerable weight to the chair.

The EVO 613 Li replaces the traditional battery configuration with a lighter lithium system designed for longer service life and improved efficiency.

Lithium technology offers several important benefits, including reduced battery weight, longer published driving range, and improved charging convenience.

For someone who relies on a power wheelchair throughout the day, these improvements can make a meaningful difference in everyday use.

Longer Driving Range With the Jazzy EVO 613 Li

One of the strongest reasons to consider the lithium model is its increased driving range.

At a rider weight of 200 lbs., Pride rates the Jazzy EVO 613 Li for up to 21 miles per charge, compared with approximately 17.1 miles for the standard EVO 613.

At the maximum 300 lb. weight capacity, the lithium model offers up to 17.6 miles, compared with approximately 14 miles for the standard model.

That additional range can be especially valuable for longer outings, shopping trips, medical appointments, community activities, and everyday mobility around the home.

It also gives riders additional flexibility between charging sessions.

Actual driving range will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, temperature, battery condition, driving habits, and other factors.

A Lighter Power Wheelchair

Another important difference is overall weight.

The standard Jazzy EVO 613 weighs approximately 189 lbs., while the lithium powered EVO 613 Li weighs approximately 160.5 lbs.

That represents a reduction of roughly 28.5 lbs., primarily because of the lighter battery system.

The lithium battery weighs approximately 18.5 lbs., compared with approximately 47 lbs. combined for the standard model's traditional batteries.

Although the EVO 613 Li is not a folding travel wheelchair, the reduced overall weight is still a meaningful improvement.

It allows Pride to maintain the same capable power wheelchair platform while reducing the weight associated with its battery system.

Faster Charging and Longer Battery Life

Lithium battery technology offers benefits beyond driving range and weight.

Pride reports improved charging efficiency and a longer battery life cycle with its lithium battery system compared with traditional sealed lead acid configurations.

The EVO 613 Li also carries a 3 year limited battery warranty, compared with the standard model's 13 month limited battery warranty.

For customers planning to use their power wheelchair for years, battery longevity and charging convenience are important considerations.

While actual battery life depends on charging habits, usage, and operating conditions, the lithium system represents one of the most meaningful upgrades in the EVO 613 Li.

The Same Compact 22 Inch Turning Radius

While the battery technology is different, both EVO 613 models retain the compact maneuverability that makes the series popular.

The Jazzy EVO 613 Li features a 22 inch turning radius and an overall width of approximately 22 inches.

Pride's Mid Wheel 6 Technology places the drive wheels near the center of the wheelchair, allowing tight turns and precise maneuverability.

This is particularly useful in homes, hallways, kitchens, restaurants, shopping centers, and other environments where space may be limited.

The lithium model maintains these same maneuverability advantages while adding the benefits of its upgraded battery system.

Active Trac Suspension for Everyday Comfort

Both models feature Pride's Active Trac ATX Suspension, designed to help absorb bumps and uneven surfaces.

Combined with the Mid Wheel 6 drive system and large drive wheels, the suspension helps provide a comfortable ride when transitioning between common indoor and outdoor environments.

For riders who regularly travel across sidewalks, paved paths, shopping centers, and other everyday surfaces, suspension can make a noticeable difference in riding comfort.

The EVO 613 Li retains this proven suspension system rather than sacrificing comfort to achieve its lighter battery configuration.

Comfortable Seating and Adjustable Positioning

The Jazzy EVO 613 Li also offers the comfortable seating and adjustable positioning features associated with the EVO 613 series.

Available seating configurations include widths of 16, 18, and 20 inches, allowing customers to select a size that better accommodates their needs.

The chair features comfortable high back seating with adjustable positioning, along with adjustable armrests and foot platform options.

For customers who spend extended periods using their power wheelchair, proper seat sizing and positioning are important considerations.

Both models provide similar seating and maneuverability features, making battery technology the primary difference between them.

Is the Jazzy EVO 613 Li Worth Choosing Over the Standard EVO 613?

For customers comparing the two power wheelchairs, the lithium model offers several meaningful advantages.

The Jazzy EVO 613 Li provides longer published driving range, reduced overall weight, improved charging convenience, and a longer battery warranty, while maintaining the same compact design, suspension, and maneuverability.

The standard EVO 613 remains an option for customers who prefer traditional sealed lead acid batteries and a potentially lower initial purchase price.

However, for someone prioritizing longer driving range, lithium battery longevity, and reduced battery weight, the EVO 613 Li offers a compelling combination of improvements.

Why the Jazzy EVO 613 Li Stands Out

The Pride Jazzy EVO 613 Li takes the proven EVO 613 platform and enhances it with modern lithium battery technology.

With up to 21 miles of published driving range, approximately 28.5 lbs. less overall weight, a 22 inch turning radius, Active Trac Suspension, and comfortable adjustable seating, the lithium model combines several desirable features in one compact power wheelchair.

Rather than changing the entire design, Pride improved one of the most important components: the battery system.

For customers looking for a Pride Mobility power wheelchair with lithium battery performance, excellent indoor maneuverability, comfortable seating, and dependable everyday mobility, the Jazzy EVO 613 Li deserves serious consideration.
